首先，這部片並沒有中文名稱，因為它並沒有在台灣、香港、中國等地上映，所以市面上的中文名稱，如「依森葛文最悲慘的社會生活」等等，都不算是正式的官方名稱，不過，就算是官方的又如何呢？ 這部片主要是敘述，有關於兩個人，兩個男人，因為一些事故，讓他們的感情不再和睦，甚至變賣掉了他們原本要一起居住的公寓。在這個途中，他們經歷了一些事情、一些人，發生的許許多多有趣的事情。
Ethan Green，在劇中是一位男同性戀者，他與一位女同性戀者居住在一起，並且跟5位男性發生了許許多多事情，而5位男性之間亦互相有所牽引。故事的過程有點複雜…反正就是一直在描述著Ethan Green做什麼事情都是不好的結果，故事的最後也是一團糟。不過最後的最後還是讓他們原本中斷的愛情得以復原，有情人終成眷屬。
其實這部片是別人推薦我看的，而且剛好台灣好像沒上映，所以知道的人應該也不多吧？我覺得以同志片來說，它的著墨比較算是社會片，它在同志上面表現出來的意象並沒有市面上的同志片來得多，只不過剛好主角是個同志罷了！我覺得不應該把它當作同志片來看。（看帥哥的人就另當別論了…）
